These young Americans went to war with commitment and resolve. But some of them have returned physically and emotionally scarred and disabled in ways that make resuming the life they left behind virtually impossible.
These soldiers and service veterans now need your help to free themselves – from nightmares about bombs and blood, from medications that maintain basic body functions, and from physical limitations that can prevent them from living their lives in the homes, communities and country they gave so much to protect. They risked everything for their country and ask for nothing more than a reasonably fulfilling life upon returning home.
